Meet Our Cast

RUBY the Red Argentine Tegu

Ruby may only have eyes for her lizard boyfriend, T-Rex, but she does like to roam around and flirt with the other animals. She’s super spunky, with sass to spare!

Favorite food:

Mangos, bananas, pork, and chicken

Fun fact:

As her name implies, she’s exquisite to look at with next to no physical flaws. A true beauty queen at heart — even a diva, some might say!

ASH the Blue Argentine Tegu

Just like a firery aftermath of soot remains, Ash will come storming into your heart.  He’s one of our rescue animals but, after a hard life, he’s now living in the lap of luxury with all his reptile friends. He’s just a kid now, but he’ll reach the length of a bathtub (4.5 feet) when he’s full grown (and that doesn’t include his long tongue!).

Favorite food:

Mangos, bananas, pork, and chicken

Fun fact:

This mischievous lizard loves a good ol’ fashioned staring contest — and he never loses! He has eyes like a hawk!

MELLOW YELLOW the Saharan Yellow Uromastyx

As his name implies, Mellow Yellow is all about enjoying the laid-back lifestyle. His favorite activity: Chilling out on his heated rock — a hobby that changes the color of his spiky skin to a VERY bright yellow!

Favorite food:

Leafy vegetables, dried peas, lentils, and seeds — a true herbivore!

Fun fact:

The nickname for a Uromastyx is “Spiny-Tail” as their tails are very unique and spiny looking.

SMAUG the Bearded Dragon

Look past the spiky, scaly exterior and you’ll see that Smaug is just a big softy! Depending on his mood and activity, Smaug can intensify his coloring; he changes to dark red and black when sunbathing, and bright orange and gray when he’s cooling down.

Favorite food:

Veggie mix

Fun fact:

Smaug got his name from the fire-breathing dragon in The Hobbit, but he’s not that tough. In fact, his favorite pastime is getting cozy and cuddling under blankets.

FANTA the Leatherback Bearded Dragon

Fanta is one of our most adventurous animals! Watch him for a few minutes and you’ll see his moves like a bird, twitching, pecking — even jumping — from one spot to the next. If he could, he’d take flight right off of one of his favorite sticks.

Favorite food:

Sweet peas and kale

Fun fact:

Fanta is a rare type of bearded dragon called a Leatherback, which refers to his smooth, less spiky texture. His skin feels like very fine sandpaper.

IVAN the Russian Tortoise

Named after the most common name in Russia: He really steals the hearts of all kids no matter what their age. He can be a little shy until he gets to know you, which makes him really good at the game “Hide-N-Go Seek”!

Favorite food:

Kale

Fun fact:

Ivan loves to take hot baths where he can spread out all four of his legs and really relax. Take it easy, Ivan!

SPADE the Dumerils Boa

Weighing in at 45 pounds, Spade loves to take it easy, spending most of her time eating and lounging around in her cage. Take a closer look at the pattern on her back and you’ll see where she got her unique name!

Favorite Food:

Rats

Fun fact:

When stretched to her full length, Spade is 8 feet long. That’s more than a foot longer than a California king-sized bed!

HELENA the Ball Python

Named after Thor’s sister, the Goddess of Death, Helena is actually one of the sweetest, most lovable snakes you’ll ever meet. And, at nearly 5 feet long, she’s also one of the biggest female ball pythons you’ll ever meet! She’s a real gentle giant.

Favorite food:

Rats

Fun fact:

Helena is a recent mother to 6 baby snakes!

MALEFICENT The Spider Het Piebald Ball Python

Don’t be fooled by that sinister smile! Behind her intimidating exterior, Maleficent is quite gentle — even a little shy. Just like her friend Helena, she’s also a new mother to 4 babies.

Favorite food:

Rats

Fun fact:

Maleficent has golden eyes, a unique trait that makes her ssssssssuper special!

KHALEESI the Piebald Het Albino Ball Python

Much like her Game of Thrones namesake, Khaleesi is a true queen. Piebalds come in a variety of colors, from low white all the way to high white, and she’s right in between — just perfect. She also has a gorgeous chocolate brown in her pattern that makes her stand out from the pack.

Favorite food:

Rats

Fun fact:

Khaleesi is very polite at `, eating slowly and steadily. This means she doesn’t grow as fast as the others, so she’s on the smaller side for a ball python.

LADY GLITTER SPARKLES the Pastel Piebald Ball Python

If you love the movie Trolls, you’ll know why we gave Lady Glitter Sparkles her colorful name. She’s bright, vibrant, and oh-so pretty, making her one of our most popular snakes.

Favorite food:

Rats

Fun fact:

Lady Glitter Sparkles LOVES to eat, which means she’ll grow very fast — up to 4 ½ feet in length!

T’CHALA the Pastel Piebald Ball Python

All hail King T’Chala! We named him after the regal role in Black Panther — and he’s lived up to his name. T’Chala is a father and a great example of just how large and powerful a male ball python can be.

Favorite food:

Rats

Fun fact:

Despite his size, T’Chala is a lovable, calm, and docile snake who can’t get enough of the ladies. He’s a lover not a fighter!

ICE MAN the Piebald Ball Python

Pure white like fresh snow, Ice Man is a 100% Het Albino Python. Look closely, though, and you’ll see he also has some dark chocolate coloring with little spots or “islands” on his otherwise white body.

Favorite food:

Rats

Fun fact:

Named after Val Kilmer’s character in Top Gun, Ice Man loves to show off and flex his “muscles.”

MAZE the Pastel Ghost Corn Snake

Named after the fun pastime of running through a Maze, he likes to take his long, slender body and hid in dark, tight places like bookcases and cabinets. His favorite pastime: Hanging on your fingers like he’s holding on to the branch of a tree, much like he would in the wild

Favorite Food:

Rats

Fun fact:

Known for their brightly colored scales, being a ghost he has replaced the red color with grey and black hues.

QUEEN BARB the Pastel Piebald Ball Python

This girl is a hard rocker at heart! Queen Barb has the personality to match her colorful exterior, and loves to show off.  What’s one of her favorite tricks? Rolling herself into a ball, which is a tribute to how ball pythons got their name!

Favorite Food:

Rats

Fun fact:

Queen Barb is named after the Queen of Rock from Trolls 2 World Tour. She loves to rock and roll!
